December 2010 - TerraTec’s New Antenna 300 & Antenna 500

Digital TV is on a relentless advance, but terrestrial signal reception remains weak in some fringe areas and problem zones. TerraTec Electronic has launched two new products aimed to improve reception, especially in and around the home: Priced at 19.99 and 24.99 euros, respectively, Antenna 300 and Antenna 500 are both available now.

Antenna 300 is an active indoor aerial. Engineered for an extended range, it receives all signals in top-notch quality, with negligible noise and no distortion. Highly resistant to interference from other networks, this antenna may be set up horizontally or vertically to enable the best reception. Power is provided via USB or an optionally available AC adapter.

Designed especially for digital terrestrial TV reception, Antenna 500 works with both DVB-T sticks and receivers. Its low-noise amp and circuitry ensure good reception even in areas with poor DVB-T coverage. Housed in a splash-proof, UV-resistant enclosure, Antenna 500 attaches to a wall or other installed antenna system using the included fixings, and adjusts flexibly to enable the best reception.
