The stylish sound reinforcement systems SubSession Traveller 3 and Traveller 5 from TerraTec put pep into the performance of PCs, Macs, and external audio devices such as MP3 players, iPods, iPhones, netbooks, and mobile phones. Sporting high-quality loudspeakers and powerful Class-D amps, they pack plenty of punch and serve up crystal-clear 2.1 sound. Priced at 49.99 (79 CHF) and 59.99 euros respectively, Traveller 3 and Traveller 5 will hit shelves in March.

These systems couldn't be any easier to connect: Simply plug into a computer’s USB port to instantly enjoy a much more satisfying audio experience when playing games, watching movies, or listening to music. There is no need to first install drivers or fuss with an additional audio card. What’s more, SubSession Traveller 3 requires no external power supply because the USB connection provides phantom power. And on the go, Traveller 5 can be powered via the included batteries. Weighing less than 500 grams each, both systems are very handy indeed. Driven by a high-quality Class-D amp, the woofers deliver 0.6 watts, and the integrated 2¼” subwoofer an impressive 1.2 watts.
