G1 – The Easiest Way to Go from VHS to DVD
With new TerraTec G1 device, a few mouse clicks are all it takes to turn old VHS tapes into digital movies in top-notch quality. Connecting TerraTec G1 is an exercise in convenience. Simply plug it into a computer or notebook’s USB 2.0 port and install the software – that’s it. Users can digitize videos in the typical MPEG 1 and MPEG 2 DVD formats with the greatest ease: Simply start the video recorder, press the G1’s record button, and go. Users may then edit out superfluous material such as blue screen intros, add cross-fade effects, load their favorite song to the audio track, and put a nifty title on it all. Formatting personalized menus and burning the results to DVD takes very little time. Record, cut, and burn – that’s all there is to creating video discs. Although remarkably easy to handle, the MAGIX software application Movies on DVD offers features not only newcomers will enjoy. Its intuitive user interface and clearly structured menu make it the ideal solution for creating one’s own movies on DVD or CD, quickly and conveniently. Experts are sure to enjoy the many advanced settings and options.
The full PAL resolution of 720 x 576 pixels ensures premium video quality at every step of the editing process. All devices equipped with analog video outputs (camcorders, sat receivers, and DVD players) may be connected. This affords the user even more application options. TerraTec G1 accepts signals from virtually every device sporting analog outputs, including VHS, Video 8, S-VHS, Hi8, Betamax, and many more. TerraTec G1 is easily connected to the source via whatever port may be available, SCART, S-Video or Composite. The device ships with an extensive set of cords, including a SCART adapter, so even newbies can get started straightaway. G1 automatically identifies video sources and formats, and generates highest quality digital versions. Users can even generate backup copies of current DVDs and video CDs.
