Experience the variety of entertainment available on your computer. With the Cinergy S USB, you can now turn your Mac into a full-fledged TV with radio capabilities. Getting to your first TV show takes just a few steps. Simply connect the handy tuner box to an available 2.0 USB port, connect the TV cable (satellite dish with digital LNB necessary!) and the power adapter and then install the software. Done! Now you're receiving hundreds of TV channels from all over the world in DVB-S standard, which you can save to your hard drive, edit and burn with just a few clicks of the mouse.

Time shifting
This function finally sets you free from the TV schedule. If you have something you need to do, simply start watching your favourite show ten minutes after it begins. Because the part of the show that has already been broadcast is temporarily stored on the hard drive, you can also easily fast forward or reverse or insert a brief pause. You now can skip annoying commercials at the touch of a button.

Electronic programme guide (EPG) and teletext
To ensure that you always have an overview of the multitude of digital broadcast stations, an integrated programme guide is available (a free one-year subscription is included with the unit). This gives you an up-to-the-minute, complete programme guide that looks up to two weeks ahead. The current programmes on all stations are conveniently listed on a single page, and you can also access information about the year of production, stars, content etc. Likewise, the familiar videotext is available.

High-performance hard drive video recorder
Record movies, directly or using a timer, direct to your hard drive without any loss of quality and remove commercials and other unwanted content in no time at all. Managing your recordings could not be any easier—simply drag and drop them into playlists. Sort the recordings by series, season, artist, genre etc. You can create as many playlists as you want, and thus conveniently back up and search for your recordings.

Support for iPods with video function
Transfer your music videos, TV stations and other recordings to your iPod with just one click. You can then easily connect your iPod to your TV and watch your movies on the "big screen" rather than the iPod's display. An additional feature is automatic iPod export for your recordings which, as soon as they are finished, convert them into the iPod video format and transfer them to iTunes to be synchronised with your iPod.

Perfect Mac integration
EyeTV is a Universal application that provides full performance on both PowerPC and Intel Core processors. Even managing and organising recordings is specially optimised for Mac. Each recording is saved in a separate file that you can rename in the Finder, copy and move to another location or launch directly. The visuals are equally pleasing—all program windows and the elegant on-screen remote control blend seamlessly into the design of Mac OS.
