Small, trendy, mobile and inexpensive—netbooks like the Eee PC are perfect as starter computers or as second computers and, with long battery lives, they have a good reputation for use on the go. But these miniature notebooks are not just great for browsing, e-mail correspondence and word processing. With a TV card from TerraTec and the TerraTec Home Cinema TV software provided with it, you can watch television on your netbook at home or on the move.

The TerraTec Home Cinema TV software runs on all netbooks made by well-known manufacturers that are equipped with these standards: Intel Atom processor, 1024 MB RAM, 300 MB of space on the hard drive for the software installation, Windows XP Service Pack 2 or greater, or Windows Vista Service Pack 1 or greater. Easy to use and packed with features, the TerraTec Home Cinema TV software puts television on your screen in top digital quality. Even timeshifting and picture-in-picture (PiP) are possible!

No matter which netbook you own, all you need is a TV card by TerraTec with a USB port. Simply plug it into your netbook and install the TV software. The software is included on the CD provided, but can also be downloaded online. After a channel scan, movies, news, and your favourite TV series can be watched as they're being broadcast. The TV stick you use depends on how your receive the TV signal. There are solutions for DVB-T (antenna), DVB-C (cable) and DVB-S (satellite)—there are even solutions for conventional analogue television and radio.
