Question 1
Is it necessary to check the setting of the jumpers and the switches before installing the sound device?

Answer 1
The internal booster is switched off ex works. In case you would like to use the sound card with an amplifier or active speakers you won´t have to change a thing. On the other hand, if you want to use your headphones with the sound card, you have to change the jumper setting.

Possible jumper settings (JPI):

1. Both jumpers on the right side (Line)
2. Both jumpers on the left side (Headphones)

You will find further informations regarding this topic printed on the backside of the sound card.
